The Sacred Cocoon Inc. is currently in its launch phase, establishing safe transitional housing, career development workshops, and childcare support for domestic violence survivors and their children in Palatka and North East Florida. We are actively raising funds and acquiring resources to open our physical doors. Our Mission
The Sacred Cocoon is a sanctuary of healing and restoration for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Rooted in faith and compassion, we provide safe transitional housing and comprehensive support—including spiritual care, counseling, childcare, and life-skills training. We walk alongside families on their journey to wholeness, giving them the space, dignity, and time they need to rebuild their lives and soar.
Our Vision
We envision a community where every survivor of domestic violence is embraced with safety, dignity, and long-term support. Just as a butterfly is protected within its cocoon, we create a sacred space where women and children can heal from trauma, discover their strength, and transition into independent, free, and thriving futures.
